Aubrey Organics Pomegranate Creme de la Shave

February 10, 2009

A rich and creamy shaving cream with an exotic pomegranate scent.

“Lush, moisture rich shave cream is ultimate luxury for your legs and all over. You’ll love it’s silky feel and exotic scent”.

  • Suitable for vegans
  • Contains carmine

This is without doubt the best natural shaving cream I have used.

The cream was very rich but without being greasy or sticky and I was able to get a thin but even coverage of shaving cream. It was very easy to rinse off and left my skin very soft – I didn’t need to moisturise my legs after shaving which was a big bonus!

It was just the right consistency – not so greasy that it caused the razor to slip and not so thick that I couldn’t rinse it off. It was thick enough to prevent any razor burn on hard to shave areas like knees and underarms.

The scent was delicate, fresh and feminine. I think men could use this product too as it is available in toasted almond and orange scents.

I finished my tube a couple of days ago but haven’t been able to find anywhere (including the Aubrey Organics website) that still stocks this scent, so I think it may have been discontinued. This product is available in other scents including toasted almond, raspberry honey and orange cream.

I will definitely buy this product again.

Summary

  • Pros: Smelt great, moisturising and easy to rinse off

The range of scents they have sound amazing and they seem really good value for money!

Indeed! Many of the shaving foams for women (like Gillette) are about £3.49 so I think this one is really good value for £3.99 and it\’s all natural!
