Burts Bees Coconut Foot Cream

June 3, 2008

A pampering foot cream for tired and neglected feet. It is rich in coconut oil, olive oil and peppermint for soft and fresh feet!

  • 99.40% natural

I bought a Burt’s Bees ‘Head to Toe Starter Kit’ which contained a tube of the Coconut Foot Cream and it is probably one of the best foot creams I have used in a long time. The first thing I love about this product is it’s warm and super ‘cocoutty’ scent, which smells good enough to eat! There is also slight hint of peppermint which I think makes it a more fresh than sickly smell. I wouldn’t say the smell is a typically natural one, but it doesn’t smell massively synthetic either. The word fragrance appears on the ingredients label but it doesn’t state the origin.

The cream works brilliantly and even though it’s very yellow, doesn’t stain white towels or clothing. I get quite dry feet from walking around with no socks on and wearing flip flops too much, and it still gave me super smooth feet.

It is a very rich emollient cream which contains both coconut and olive oil. It was easy to rub onto my feet but was a bit sticky at first so I think it’s best used when you can put your feet up and relax. I first applied it during the day but could feel the cream on my feet whilst I was walking around, which I didn’t like. For this reason I like using it overnight so it has lots of time to soak in and I wake up with coconut scented feet. The texture of this cream also lends itself very well to foot rubs!

I have found a couple of places that stock Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Cream in the UK: Debehams and Between the Lines. Their prices are inline with those on the Burt’s Bees website.

Summary

  • Pros: Smells fabulous, made my dry feet very soft
