Organic Surge Ocean Fresh Shower Gel

June 17, 2008

A lightly fragranced 99% natural shower gel with no nasties or obscure chemicals

  • 99% natural
  • Certified organic extracts

I found this product in Waitrose whilst I was doing my food shopping and bought it because it was a natural brand I hadn’t seen before.

The shower gel was very watery and even so, a bit sticky and slow to rinse off. If you like bubbly products, this would be a good buy as even without the use of SLS, you still get some bubbles!

I was a bit disappointed with how long the scent of this lasted. It smelt great in the tube, but once I had squeezed it out and started to rub it on my body, the smell was pretty much gone! I also felt that because it was such a watery shower gel, it didn’t last as long as some of the other more concentrated natural shower gels I have tried.

A good thing to note about the packaging of this product is that all the ingredients have a plain english version in brackets which makes it much easier to identify what is in the product as you don’t have to decode anything.

  • Pros: Honestly labelled
  • Cons: Thin gel, scent disappeared quite quickly
