Lavera's rose milk shampoo and conditioner were the very first natural hair care products I bought because I liked quite a few of the other products in the Lavera range.

My hair type: Long, curly hair that can get quite dry. I very rarely use a hair dryer and prefer to let it try naturally because I create more mess than I tidy up!

Shampoo: Smelt fantastic and was easy to rub in and rinse out. It left my hair feeling squeaky clean and created a fair amount of lather but not that many bubbles as it is SLS free.

Conditioner: The conditioner was very rich but easy to work in. Once I had rinsed the conditioner out, my hair still felt quite dry and unconditioned.

Once my hair had dried, I was a bit disappointed because it didn't feel very smooth and the ends still felt quite dry. I used it a couple more times after this in case I hadn't rinsed it all out properly or used too much of the product but had the same problem and my hair seemed to get a bit greasy. Having said that, I washed my hair every other day with these products, so it could be that they are better suited to being used as an occasional treatment to avoid product build up.

I used both the shampoo and the conditioner every other day and they lasted me quite a long time because I didn't need to use too much.
