This balm does exactly what it says on the box…..everything. In fact, it’s probably more of a case of ‘what doesn’t this balm do?’. I got this tub last Christmas and I still have half left because it’s so economical. It’s spent the majority of it’s life in my handbag or going on holiday/weekends away with me because it’s such a good all-rounder, especially for thirsty skin.

Due to the coconut oil content, the texture of this balm is very light and silky and is easily absorbed. It’s best to rub a small amount between your fingers before you apply it to your skin because it softens up and becomes very spreadable. Doing this also means you won’t end up putting on far more than you need to. In the Summer, the balm is alot softer, so you don’t really need to warm it up in your hands first. It contains no bulking agents or fillers so you only need a tiny bit for the job.

The smell is one I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s floral, but smells more of ‘plants’ – feminine but without being sickly and sweet.

I’ve used this product for so much. Last winter I put some on my face before walking to work in the morning to protect my face from the cold (I found it to be a lighter alternative to Weleda’s Skin Food). My skin gets very sensitive in the switchover between Autumn and Winter and I found this product really helped. I found this balm excellent for repairing dry or damaged nails. It softens into a very fine oil, so I could rub it on and not worry about leaving oil on everything I touched for the rest of the day. Other day to day uses have included lip balm, face moisturiser and foot cream.

Trilogy recommend using Everything Balm for dry skin on elbows and knees, as an alterantive to mineral oil for babies and children, stretch marks, massage, hair serum, soothing itches and hands.

The packaging feels very rustic on the outside, with a vibrant floral graphic on the inside. There is a great phrase printed on the box that makes me chuckle:

“Everything in here is real, natural and has no preservatives. Creating skin that is only skin deep, because no-one really cares about having good looking tonsils.”

Overall, another excellent product from Trilogy that is a staple bathroom item!
