Trilogy Intensive Lip Treatment (with rosehip)

June 3, 2008

This lip treatment is the best I have come across on my quest to find a natural alternative to petroleum based lip treatments.

The treatment is ultra fine and glides on very smoothly unlike many intensive treatments which can be a bit thick and gloopy. It is largely made from oils but this doesn’t make it heavy or greasy – instead I think it helps it to be absorbed much quicker rather than it just sitting on my lips and not doing very much. It’s works brilliantly on flaky, chapped lips – it’s almost like the dry skin just melts away.

I am big fan of sage and this is blended with peppermint oil, so this product gets a big bonus for scent – sweet but refreshing.

The rosehip oil used in this product gives it a strong yellow colour. Even so, it didn’t cause any staining on or around my lips.

The tube is hygienic as you don’t need to put your fingers in the product to get it out and the angled head makes it easy to apply.

It costed a little more than many lip treatment but I think it was worth it because it worked so well. I didn’t have to keep reapplying it for days to feel a difference, so I think my tube will last me a long time!
