Weleda’s almond moisturiser is a gentle, fragrance free product suitable for those with dry or sensitive skin.
I ordered a tube of this product online and even though the website said it was a 30ml tube, I was still surprised at how small a 30ml tube was. Having said that, I really didn’t need to use much. It is light, quickly absorbed and leaves no greasiness. Although the cream has a fine texture, it is still incredibly moisturising meaning it can be used as both a day and night cream. It’s also a great moisturiser to use in the Summer when it’s warm and you don’t want to put anything heavy or thick on your skin.
A tip from the Weleda website: to create a richer moisturiser, add a few drops of almond oil to the cream.
This product is great as an everyday moisturiser and if it came in bigger tubes, I would probably use it as an all over body moisturiser too! In terms of price and quality, this is one of the best natural moisturisers I have used.
Summary
- Pros: Light and can easily be made into a richer moisturiser with a couple of drops of almond oil
- Cons: Wish it came in a larger tube

I think the price is fairly high because the ingredients are organic and biodynamically grown. It’s not as pricey as some face creams though – especially some of the big high street brands.
