Weleda Creamy Citrus Body Wash
June 3, 2008
A citrus scented body wash made from organic plant and essential oils. This product contains eco-friendly biodegradable cleansers made from sugar and coconuts.
The citrus scent is without doubt my favourite of all the Weleda body washes. It smells really refreshing but it still creamy and rich. I don’t often buy creamy shower products because they sometimes leave my skin feeling a bit slimey, but this one just left me feeling soft and moisturised. Weleda body wash is available in other two other scents: wild rose and sea buckthorn.
The main ingredients are water and sesame seed oil, so it doesn’t produce any bubbles and instead forms a rich and creamy lather. All of the ingredients are biodegradable and Weleda say, “The new Weleda body washes contain eco-friendly cleansers made from sugar and coconut which together with the other ingredients cleanse, moistures and care for the skin, whilst being kind to the environment as they are totally degradable and do not harm marine life.”
I have noticed Weleda products like this one appearing in some Waitrose stores, so I can just pick some up when I am doing my food shopping, rather than having to order it offline and waiting for it to arrive.
I was impressed with how long this tube of body wash lasted. A 250ml tube lasts my partner and I an average of 3-4 weeks with both of us using it everyday, so it’s very economical.
