This gift set is a lavender lovers dream! The set contains a creamy body wash and body oil, and both are fragranced with lavender essential oil rather than fragrance oil so they smell like ‘true’ lavender (which in my opinion is a ‘younger’ smell).

Body wash

I’m a big fan of Weleda’s creamy body washes, so I knew I would like this one too. It has a lovely ‘crisp’ smell which is a good contrast with the body oil. As with other Weleda body washes, I didn’t get alot of lather – which felt more luxurious with a lavender scent compared to the citrus body wash.

Body oil

I really love this body oil. It’s incredibly light and easily absorbed – I much prefer this body oil to creamy moisturisers because I don’t have to wait for the moisturiser to dry before I put my clothes on! I found this oil left my skin the softest when I used it straight after a shower, and is especially food for moisturising shaved legs. When used on my feet, it left my nails feeling lovely too.

As you’d expect from lavender, the scent is quite strong (but not overpowering). Even though I have sensitive skin I’ve used this product all over my body, including my face (always do a patch test if you are unsure whether a product will suit your skin!). You can also use this oil like a pulse point oil before you go to bed to help you sleep.

The packaging is all recyclable. Shower gel packaging is #1 plastic (PE/PP) and is widely recycled, body oil is a glass bottle and the box is made from recyclable cardboard. As well as this, both of the products are biodegradable.

A great gift for anyone who loves lavender, the two products compliment each other perfectly.
