I’ve been using this product for six weeks, 2 of which have been a hot holiday in the sun and I’ve been really pleased with the condition of my hair.
Weleda’s Rosemary Hair Lotion is ultra light and doesn’t feel at all heavy of greasy, making it ideal for even greasy hair types.
I’ve used this lotion on damp hair after a shower and it has really helped with frizz – which I was very suprised about because it doesn’t have any weight to it. Once dried, my hair was very soft and shiney. I started to use this regularly and found I didn’t need to use hair serum most days – I have curly hair, so I can get away with a degree of fly-away. At first I wasn’t sure how much to apply in case it made my hair greasy but I’ve been using a 50p size amount each time and it hasn’t weighed down my hair at all.
I’ve used this product when I’ve let my hair dry naturally and also when it’s been blow dried and I’ve been happy with both results. The heat from the hair dryer seems to ‘activate’ the lotion as it left my hair extremely soft.
This hair lotion is also great for reviving tired looking hair. I’ve been trying not to wash my hair everyday because it dries it out too much, so the day after I’ve washed it, I just work some of the lotion into my hair and it makes it feel like it’s freshly washed.
The lotion has a really lovely, freshing scent. The rosemary is not at all over powering and once I’d worked it into my hair, it had a subtle fresh and clean smell.
I’d definitely recommend this hair lotion for keeping your hair fresh, soft and shiney – especially in the Summer months when your hair is under stress from heat, humidity and sun.
